My name is Ashlea Costello, owner of Ashlea's Little Cake Shop. I learned the basics of decorating cakes when I was 13 but I didn’t begin decorating for others until 2016. Besides the basics I learned when I was younger, I am completely self-taught and learned everything I know from the internet and trial and error.
Besides decorating cakes, I am a wife and mother to one awesome son, work full-time, manage my husband's podiatry practice, go to school part-time for my MBA and am involved in my son's Cub Scout Pack. So needless to say I am pretty busy and appreciate two weeks notice for a cake order.
I love creating works of art and take pride in every cake I design. It's all about creating the WOW factor. To do that I like to start with a blank canvas and gather a real understanding of who you are and what you are looking to achieve on your special day.
